Björn Elting is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Platinion Insurance practice. He leads digital strategy and technology transformations for insurers across Central Europe. Since joining BCG in 2012, he has helped industry leaders modernize their legacy systems, reshape operating models, and bring complex transformation programs to life—from strategy to execution.
Björn has particular expertise in core system modernization and IT architecture, tech-enabled cost transformation, CIO advisory and operating model design, and embedded insurance and platform innovation. He works closely with CEOs, CIOs, CTOs, and board-level decisionmakers to translate ambition into scalable change, and has led multi-year programs with some of the region’s largest insurers. He is also an expert in scaled agile transformations and leads the agile at scale work for the CEMA (Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region for Platinion's Insurance practice.
Before joining BCG, Björn worked at Accenture GmbH and Business Technology Consulting AG.
